This is a long term posting with the successful applicants being called to fill positions on an ‘as-required’ basis.4 \* A$ f; B4 v2 c
! g# M; O5 b8 zFUNCTIONS:
+ E5 a( @8 K. `; M/ `3 r• Transport passengers to and from destinations on prescribed scheduled routes.- k- _; D! ?, A2 w
• Collect proper fare, issue transfers.

• Operate a Transit diesel bus and/or trolley coach, on a day, night or split shift under varying weather + B. J. b ~4 O0 m

• Adhere to schedules.

• Grade eleven (11) or an equivalent educational level is required. Formal training in driving or public relations will be considered an asset.

• Applicant must possess a valid class 5 Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator's license (non-probationary and non-graduated) and must have held a valid operator's license for (3) consecutive years.( V! K$ A4 ?5 O! h" v
• Selected applicants must pass the Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator's class 2 written test, at their own expense, prior to training.
. J' p- p4 {0 Z, j1 e2 S% l• Applicant must provide a current driver's abstract (obtained within 14 days of the video test date)

• Ability to pass a written English comprehension test, a public relations video-test, a driving skill
7 _) f" y ]# ?; L8 e! M; Yvideo-test, a Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) test, a pre-employment City medical examination and a Police Security clearance (at their own expense, prior to training).1 R4 l' C8 x+ y
• Successful completion of the ETS Training Program.
% G! ~$ z& S* j; w( X% n; O• Internal ETS applicants must have completed all mandatory in-house training.

6 b7 X6 u5 k& K/ mVarious hours of shift work (straight or split shift), any time of the day, any 5 days of the week

Thereafter: Guaranteed minimum 74 hours biweekly
