work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft+ Z$ D' |9 F2 `
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.* Y5 V ^, {- u; h. I4 H
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
; g/ `/ T' U W% \) m% Nartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.8 O( Y6 `* ~7 r) u
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for4 T+ H C" |( l! g. F
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
; |3 w. B3 Z F: K2 L7 {recyclables.
8 x; r: a5 n2 ]! R3 M) \; X; U4 ]Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be

, L) n- |7 D: e: nHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing, I6 C/ E8 G5 [, u
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late

festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide

Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for

' s/ Q' Q$ S5 @% \1 {Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed8 S( I9 L8 U8 R5 \1 r& R' x! N
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the. W6 H/ j% w1 e9 ^* e& f
festival.( _8 {3 G9 v1 Y- g
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is# J& ]+ ? ^! t
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you( j( |+ M% r9 W) y3 R
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
/ k: I/ l. t7 P( g) UStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training8 M$ \9 r, }$ M
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.9 {/ o9 z) ?# m) F, u$ Q$ p
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
$ W/ B* R% k4 `required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as( o& O3 Y. S* F; ]2 j
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival: b* B) Z1 V7 H' _( O$ b% z1 h0 F
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
