Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and) h; a+ [7 f# N
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft8 n0 y" u% B" |3 U% W
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.# H2 V2 `! b9 k* @" C% {: F
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
?' ~$ o+ N9 E% b! i0 H4 Z2 {artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
; @$ h( P7 A4 T# `% sEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for+ k' J) f3 o8 o- c
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
& t3 @* @/ ^5 hrecyclables.
5 k- z5 [& \3 ~" J. ~& vFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
1 _& L. I3 z. _* r J7 cpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.! P) I0 J! M* |; C$ ]! [
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
2 x- M# ~4 ^* A0 [them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late

4 t% D! K, l& W& \/ a0 QInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
' j+ y5 }" v& v3 ufestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
, T& V% c8 y! ?9 L$ uprograms to visitors to the festival.7 I v$ O- P7 {# {2 L$ i; c
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for B- a% b% r, [( C4 |( B# [$ q
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.! C+ }/ ?- q9 ]( N$ [
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
0 e0 C' ]( f; t. J9 }. R% C% Y! Levents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
, f# e" Y* Z, q4 e: nfestival.
* _: Q* f1 d2 q5 MSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
8 G5 {9 z M4 J" Eoperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
9 s0 V* }1 p4 [# C. q9 sare physically fit and ready for any emergency.. U9 }; ?! p! J; ]
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training, ]7 a( m9 w! A1 h. P. W( ^: q% q
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.3 Q% p7 j3 ^/ J9 J6 a
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
) i( h: Y8 A" I- u4 Rrequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
+ }7 ?9 g1 `5 Wairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival, s5 `( z; a" e! o! Y6 e
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
