Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and$ V V& ]4 W( W1 i
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
% o' D5 S& k: d+ Z6 K- p5 h$ ^prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
6 I' a& B/ D; {! |" ?Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the4 [5 I& N0 c0 k) R$ f; T
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
5 [% C' N. }5 k0 I, j. hEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
3 N. Z) ^, O# Z+ S. x) bvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the7 N9 l+ i4 V3 E6 f2 I. G
recyclables.
$ x2 v( I" \: ?$ t: pFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be# x; c0 Y: _4 G6 M
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
# X$ f t7 g: W- o! h9 z+ OHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing) Q1 @+ A2 v4 `3 n
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
! C+ E; W A+ R1 s7 p0 C: W1 whours are part of this crew’s duties.& c: @( S9 a# I/ `* J! ]
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
; W+ w/ f, I `0 s2 t( X jfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide3 [; A/ I) Y1 E$ J
programs to visitors to the festival.
6 j1 p* [" f7 WKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for7 [3 b9 K3 S1 r f
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
& t2 o8 i0 p' K2 ^' N/ O) ]Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
) @1 W* p; e$ b |* u# e7 M0 x' S( k( oevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the

7 a" v2 e- x% I5 F" k. nSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
% w! `* v0 f* j8 v+ R4 ]7 @operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you m' b% } w* w) X: c
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.& J" A2 c. ?0 `9 K N" ]8 {
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training8 ^3 g( T7 Y( t, p! D F
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
4 f8 g b. ~& U! t( S! x. W4 S. n7 L4 dTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be$ U# m' f1 B* q$ H
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as7 N" B6 L7 C6 }4 m8 @
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
- o' y6 `& c( ^8 A Q# M6 ~staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
