Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
. N; T& F0 y' c1 awork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft9 u( E4 e+ c$ `# L# F# A! P( p
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
3 Z" }' v' C+ w- J6 h% ZChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
/ u! m7 j7 k9 p, A, J3 ]artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.& C2 U$ Q$ ?5 w' u9 z* J0 ?
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for; O# F9 o, q' \5 [
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the

0 E; P f/ R$ m( h kpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.+ W* p3 F' A- G! x5 b
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
5 E1 N8 `7 E5 D8 X5 J9 C7 ]; Bthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
. T* `9 G- w+ }' u3 Dhours are part of this crew’s duties.' N5 m- `& q9 j
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the9 }; |+ R1 A, J, K' T5 z5 q
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide% C/ w9 ]2 P; N' J2 `) _
programs to visitors to the festival.$ u, o# h: W7 H, D( B% r4 R
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for4 \* r8 Q1 W v/ G+ ^+ H
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.' l/ E6 a' W/ L% c7 e/ H# P
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
7 j3 j3 E& c5 \" e. @6 z+ v7 ?. nevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the& G6 ]: f0 ]* q6 O7 K
festival.
3 p2 }% T% q" M5 d1 d. R/ C' kSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is3 E0 r; t( P; K( o. p
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
2 P- J w J: ?' L2 pare physically fit and ready for any emergency.
6 C/ D/ y! R' r+ w) M+ J, P) h. cStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training& F+ j# _- S- t
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.; L: M$ c }% F4 e& Z" _( W0 j
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
% b7 F$ G; n# F( urequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
) d6 q; w; O7 f3 J) A6 r' ]6 O- }airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival, }; ]" t7 J% F. P; d$ u
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
