work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
4 w; y# [1 A# m, ^) ^prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
S6 Q4 M+ p* i0 f4 \Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
; o" g2 h& W g, ~ Tartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
c4 U: p9 a4 [9 FEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
- A i q: Q( Zvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the- h/ T$ e( ?7 F
recyclables.
/ F$ c b3 O4 [; W1 w; }: CFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be# ?: L4 X5 w7 l [; L
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
6 o) Z6 X K" q1 U8 p/ YHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
& u7 U+ R/ b% Q& ?9 _them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late

festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide

Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
% J% j' t+ e2 E, V% T5 Aeveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience. Z5 `$ G! w* u" q
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
; a+ ]# J0 c1 E! x9 v( P+ Gevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
% W. l; A+ ?( ]: y$ x/ z& p; ifestival./ n. y# c" |! k5 E* H9 `
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
6 u' h. Y6 u( p# U z0 e/ c: joperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you1 c- N4 n1 D s, O9 T* ]1 B
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.+ a& J* Z! t# p# P
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
% |! N) x- c; ^; u. S0 i qand/or understanding of back stage procedures./ M7 X6 X0 G8 O$ a; z3 P) K: Q3 q1 r0 T
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
! _$ D v, r5 I0 erequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
7 p/ K. m/ i( s5 J8 Cairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
- z; `$ l+ F8 Q& y0 Dstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
