JOB SUMMARY:  Reporting to and under the supervision of the Senior  
& y) l; v7 ?0 T5 C/ {4 {Operations Manager-Retail and the Operations Manager-Retail, the  
fulltime Operating Assistant-SUBtitles is responsible for the  
" d- R! `$ @' j( E2 Meffective operation of SUBtitles in the absence of the manager(s).

7 l# m, s2 x( F9 e- e. ZDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
Retail in the training of part time staff
; g* c. {! T3 U# D
2)             Responsible for supervising part time staff and  
2 u1 m. a: ]0 K8 t* zensuring that staff are fulfilling job requirements
& z- A' A  _4 g# J2 t+ v6 M8 Q
3)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
% [- c: a. A. x( |: ]7 C1 WRetail with cashing out and ensuring that floats are secured

4)             Capable and willing to work in all areas while working  
various shifts as per store hours

0 K2 o! h& U+ Q4 T5)             Responsible for determining needs and finalizing  
& e0 z. m8 A; ]) _4 iorders for external custom order clients

6)             Responsible for the accuracy of month end inventory  
counts

7 [9 K7 j1 p& q8 s/ J; Z2 i7)             Provide a high level of customer service

8)             Responsible for ensuring that databases are kept up to  
date with regards to consignment data

1 h, B1 P, C9 b9)             Perform other job related duties, in SUBtitles and  
SUBmart, as required by the Senior Operations Manager-Retail and the  
Operations Manager-Retail

, l& T. ^( d( D! t8 r: bQUALIFICATIONS;
- g% F- w! F) j# O: W7 Y2 `% @1)             Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent

% Q, q/ O# b* E* `4 w2)             Post secondary education would be an asset
2 O2 m& W1 E7 _8 C9 K4 j
/ `, c- a; z' Y% S& K" z3)             Previous supervisory experience would be an asset
% v5 k5 X, ?' A, S6 L3 w7 a6 E
4)             Strong organizational skills
( H. \, z! B3 [3 k+ F6 S
5)             High level of creativity, initiative and attention to  
detail

' w. f* ]  w/ v3 t: r6)             Knowledge of computer operations

7)             Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a  
; R0 g! X/ B& L: Z; C" X3 Ovariety of areas

8)             Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and  
the general public

9)             Experience in handling cash
