JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will  
7 ^" i5 m% R6 E' o# s! {$ ?assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

* B% T8 Q) ]/ q" U, DDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
  v* A4 @* Z5 b8 Z% ?9 t1)              Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display  
food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen  
1 I* S5 x" Z; R, j7 @5 ]area.
$ y5 M# ?* y* Z: D/ y  v! h4 j
2) Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public  
clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)              Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as  
per Capital Health standards.
" \( L! d4 R/ [! S
4)              Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to  
work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services  
9 g; Z% \9 T, p. r' t1 toperating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.
! G( A. O) u3 A4 W/ L
6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe  
food handling and storage techniques.

. p& b1 J$ ?! m# z& S2)              Some cooking/baking experience.

) f! r4 n6 W; Y, m" n  W& ?5 B% i  m3) Cashier experience.

. t3 g& D" a! U* p4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

. R+ i) m- a% B# ^, |; M5) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

0 n; V1 A+ |0 m6 \6) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.

Wage: $8.24/hr + 50% discount on personal food ordered at L´Express  
to eat while on shift break
