DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
5 N; J8 E1 l* w9 u7 [* o(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
2 g+ `$ r& o7 k; X- tpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

* L! u4 _: e7 }& {DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
3 ~- z0 Y* k; T' f" A' g! }1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
2 [# E! E+ e- ]* g+ l1 u
# ~# f# E$ a( W4 N3 t4 ?; Y* Z/ H) w3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

. z' |2 |( _4 n) f4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
& j( f" ^& X6 c$ Q1 I" Bconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
) n) C" `1 \0 t6 f0 Z  H- @area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
3 k) j4 w7 t" kManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

+ p1 s2 D0 u& q2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
* x8 z3 Q. }3 h  y) g+ Tcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

7 S; r# N5 n, {2 R7 z. h( C, A3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

1 }* l$ z+ d% r5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
