DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
2 A- O1 B% b1 H4 v7 U(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

; J9 e- I; p9 K' ~# f& x( gDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

4 `+ T2 I' f2 k* E; r' B2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
2 G/ i& B( e% z! q& L4 B1 |4 jof garbage.

7 \" C3 d% T& H2 g' {2 f4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
) a5 D- X( x! l% {/ `consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

8 n9 e* _2 |7 C* }8 X8 u5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
: `4 C2 ^, V: [9 }$ F1 L1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
, ]2 t  R5 o: S; M& uof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
