KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.
3 P1 ~) Q8 h, u f; \2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.
9 w3 ~" t/ w l+ E3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

5 t4 Q$ Q: l: M$ \PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:
" F7 m2 a" Z7 G1 e/ Y2 k; h
1 E" }, e5 J" i8 j+ i: F1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.
' K$ C6 l8 {5 k( A. M# z2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred., D. s1 U) W- U& `; F3 I' K
3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.
* C/ ?1 [! }" R0 U% u; P# k: K1 B4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
7 _( Y4 J# n+ J6 n: a5 I5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment. # W/ j7 F4 S0 L2 }# c# G' e3 U
6. Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese. % h/ p7 w$ s9 E# `
7. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills.
