1.        Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.  
. h0 m" p0 [/ w( l" T9 D3 D2.        Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.  
6 \" U6 s5 O. {4 N% j  ^3.        Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

1.        MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.  
7 S3 z! L* _# F) o, s2.        Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
$ U+ L# P. J1 @9 N. N1 h1 P/ h3.        Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.  
9 |: J; P- |/ ?$ o- l* w4.        Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
