ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action.

Community Initiatives Documenter
) R- H# G7 h! {' d6 u$ M2 BThe CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans." Education Background: Health Promotion, Sociology, or related Social/Human Sciences field.( O: s# B' m0 Z( |5 _

Qualifications:
/ X. i* ?6 E/ D% c. @1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.
/ F9 l( L( `! N! z2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.
' b' Z" q- [9 S+ z+ S$ j3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
