ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action.

1 g5 H; {6 ^, q3 J- kThe CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.

Education Background: Health Promotion, Sociology, or related Social/Human Sciences field.

Qualifications:
5 S$ ~1 c2 \ P1 ^1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.% p$ X. Q6 C. p
2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.$ x4 D) o4 ~! C/ ^& T/ K2 e
3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
