JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:6 X& i2 Z! R2 {7 f3 K
1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and - i5 C0 Y' P" |! [ j* |
beverage items.7 l* ]3 b+ a3 ]" d) D g0 }( I

2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
( K9 J' w. ~, nbar and debit floats.. q/ \" b+ O% `- O
6 ?- {% Z4 W/ C0 {3 Y8 u1 M" x: G3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of
+ ?4 @6 `+ r. \7 J! _each shift, and upon closing.

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular
5 ]" x8 k' Z; S6 \2 Vattention to areas used by customers including bar counters and
+ x! g( a& O5 y3 mseating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.) g) U, v) Z& e, I" ?9 s
# u( U4 f& j2 V3 w, H5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
4 x) E7 j9 V; N# W2 w' d7 ]storage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol
9 n# r& o# M6 ^products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.7 o. {& p; H# {8 P
% E* s; t1 p) [8 k6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close 1 U3 L/ K. H5 r
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a
. r& ]: b9 b4 c" v! {- ihigh level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in / K2 e2 Y8 ^) M! R% f( G9 A: e
accordance with Students' Union policies.9 U( w. k! }/ j0 A: c* P

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a 4 F$ W* m% M) W2 A% A
high standard of customer service and effective operation of the room.

9) Other job related duties as required by the Operations Manager,

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.0 T" R# Y' ~ h
" v% a6 J! E5 N( P/ s2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume
) t7 d* f3 @1 T; j) ?operation.$ t) i k! c {/ B3 L

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in
* V9 v, [( C. K M7 n6 kaccordance with Students' Union policy.5 x# D+ A# S& N: L* ]( @& _$ j

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.
