JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the
( i+ K# C6 t/ R% U2 L5 bOperations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the
7 S- U5 |' ^' P* l+ c$ Hprocedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service,

1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and , A6 `/ L& b- [6 B
beverage items.; {( B F W( N- q9 U5 Z7 L: X
$ R6 E, l5 X( W* v- U. h& v$ C2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the 9 w5 C2 N7 O3 P" P" }
bar and debit floats.2 h: n' Z( ]9 Z2 B

3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of
# G$ }% e' I: x6 Ieach shift, and upon closing./ z) q& w1 z9 X& f; v( ^; P6 o, u
$ K5 u8 l% P4 m; m' ~4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular
* t1 O S, w! z9 G5 q+ U4 a2 fattention to areas used by customers including bar counters and
( m: b# b: U pseating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.7 |& s4 {! r3 y0 m! U9 O) R |. L

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in 4 k7 @! \* J. L* o- w
storage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol % u* M4 ^9 A5 R
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.3 i% a' G3 U5 E1 P" t% d

6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close
4 Y! m: m0 z/ Wmonitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a % M& u3 A9 J; D' M2 o3 b
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in ; _' a. n8 t4 f! Z$ m# w7 }4 S* {6 o
accordance with Students' Union policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
6 ~5 f$ s& _$ l6 p8 {: _- v* W1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

! X5 X4 b. S5 r2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume
* G8 P, b7 r0 l1 a+ C; t: Aoperation.. l1 r, v1 h( Y7 j4 u# f

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in
2 @9 Y+ Z& h2 Yaccordance with Students' Union policy.

' M( t1 e' H: h# `' H1 m+ \4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.& h! N' b( S9 A* R: m" ^
