CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
& S9 J: D) t! K3 G* ]8 }5 v) bvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
5 G# w5 G4 z t0 S `etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for1 ` Q* X: C1 \& ^- h' q
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and' o) E2 k4 K: y1 b' ? D2 q
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
" W; @+ [/ z! {7 W5 i! m/ s4 otheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,2 t1 G8 s0 V+ C8 Y
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking- [( `' }+ T) p) `3 @% i0 q9 V
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city0 W3 ?0 ~: O% y/ u- W
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city

excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or

Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate& V" ^- x8 Q) j+ F' F I
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,2 x& }. r( t- @0 z* U* R
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake, x; p4 U$ I, A0 L$ F
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
8 _) ~4 P( A3 }7 Eof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management" Q w- v, S0 m- E
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,- x% F4 N, ], K9 o
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
