& A. F0 F: K- I& r' kSalary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat
: N, e/ R4 A( D( X3 N& rpay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

. }- ]1 a9 Q, w, B8 R7 n5 eHours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
0 `1 j( J- M  f4 ]  e& Q- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
' T9 h. c' ?, Gthe student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
school year starts.

4 H* U8 g5 [* _# d( hDuties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
; M9 i" _% r, h; CCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
! V3 i" [, o* v' E8 Setc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
" W, h& X0 g4 |2 F/ Htheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
! o2 P. d* T* a7 J; ?8 C' Jtheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
, q6 m5 p2 J* ^6 G0 y0 Iassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
9 G" F2 h9 d7 F) L* Qexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
5 F7 e/ j5 w3 u3 Kexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
6 r. N! f: P! P# bfunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
8 g3 ?5 g3 T- z" N% H" Kpresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

: H6 H5 {, b' s3 @Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
$ J$ Q6 c9 c% ~' W0 ?/ g$ X2 I+ bfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
& ^7 j# e, b1 o1 oskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
- u; p+ b1 a; X5 {- b$ G$ U. H6 xexperience coordinating group activities an asset.
