% N7 l3 U- V0 t/ w% l8 Fpay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

9 j" E/ O5 @. l/ N1 ?! N* }. P1 P& vHours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
school year starts.

0 o  ^6 |# Q& W  }& `Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
& S9 J: D) t! K3 G* ]8 }5 v) bvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
5 G# w5 G4 z  t0 S  `etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
" W; @+ [/ z! {7 W5 i! m/ s4 otheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
# I& W/ @. h+ N. O: eexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
, y" u% I% v# J/ I/ |" S6 pfunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
" i8 Z0 F" O3 @2 x+ `. a5 Qsuch as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
9 }" }; R7 d4 J( y2 s( Epresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

2 ?$ G/ u+ j* C! o1 h, ~Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
8 _) ~4 P( A3 }7 Eof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
5 u- K+ P1 |2 @3 `, M. Pexperience coordinating group activities an asset.
