& @, _" V4 ~! \Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

* Q1 c1 W# U4 i1 q. kDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
9 t7 O# n( |( D! tcompounds by chromatography.

5 U1 C" v, T- p8 r, [7 M) q* kQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
- |% Y: R  _$ S2 i, zChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
/ M/ V) J% v. b8 f7 @. Canalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
; P0 W6 [5 F* zof a team essential.
! Q2 u0 m1 X1 l8 y. {7 oThis position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
