The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

0 F6 y9 Y V: K; d# K( ?Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
7 m) }3 L& x( d) eInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials, V& D" j0 w3 k9 u" K
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material" ^( K- k1 ]: |) Z: M3 D+ Y
Must be able to work safely at all times# h. q) ]' c, z( z$ y( z8 |
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
. ]6 M2 q( V, d9 L% Q7 }+ GPerforms routine housekeeping.

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
, |5 w6 K) H4 u1 q1 J9 jHigh school diploma (Or GED)* ~7 }# u3 B5 `* X, f
Well-articulated and assertive/ E' o. q0 A8 ^& J
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
