, ~; L- J& C( i& rThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

0 [. ]* Y) R. \2 f: y& O) f! O( K5 {6 {Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials5 G) r% J: Y- E' j
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
6 i% \/ Z: E" _0 k r- NLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
5 R" \# U" b$ EMust be able to work safely at all times
, {! c" o, \9 GBe able to effectively perform tasks independently
" w& P9 k2 D+ f5 `1 tPerforms routine housekeeping.! J( O4 N# c! s
Observes and reports any safety issues

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing

Well-articulated and assertive2 z4 L% p. P9 j: J
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization9 r% F3 m, i' |1 [1 Q0 S

Ability to write simple correspondence
