CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

$ F1 C7 v- G* u2 J: C& c· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
, g8 T' p" I4 O
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
' K" S) ?# c% a+ \
· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

- e  }0 T. k9 z4 }7 b# p4 {' t· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
& E8 r* [/ y# n$ ]5 v* m6 o
# A! J5 n: f, V6 |. n" K· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements
4 `8 O# y. |  E" }
· Minimum 3 years experience
/ r, v4 F! b) J9 L! o, H8 T5 l
· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
  d5 t9 J" r- d# E0 }) D
· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

# w- i8 k  L9 u! i0 ]' W· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation
