Class 1 Driver Needed

CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
% N% T  q) m" `0 d* |
& v8 u" a9 b, m3 {3 w, }4 D+ U6 \. g· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

5 E$ N) |* I, Z+ ?  w3 s. E· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience

/ W0 b1 w6 ]0 @$ k· Valid Class 1 license
# c% b, b' a# z- f. m
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

& a$ @8 c7 y& q4 Y$ A8 ~· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

7 A  B9 M  J% V1 w· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

" H2 [/ M7 ?3 p1 Q- T$ ^. x· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

- E( r( T. U- {; l· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
