CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

% l$ `  f; F$ ?8 w% [% D· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
" w2 z9 H! ~/ A) N6 q! z$ i# [
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
5 K# V2 K7 q, r! n" _
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

9 n% i" ~+ p4 T/ @5 P$ N· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

, N# n0 ~5 Q  c$ s' u) {# Q· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
! `- Q# b' L2 y8 H( IQualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license

- G7 U1 v' r  h1 s' F. c. `· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

2 u6 x" y# u7 ]& ^( s" s( ]! o· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

  }: \& ~  d3 Q) t& e3 l6 V1 I· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
