MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
+ Z# Y% p, X0 a/ [Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
5 D( C# N9 K" w1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
' ?' z) B% g( U4 c6 Y* J4. Calibration of Equipment
3 |) F9 @* }5 Y. z% h: o5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
: _5 i, p: @+ r; z9 S( s" |% w7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
8 U& S6 u9 R( v9 d6 j' W1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
( R. |0 m5 t" F1 M4 x2 I0 h: P3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
- S% M( V( e1 J$ d4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
