CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
9 e, U* H$ C3 G0 v•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
8 I% k+ K' n/ D+ y# y•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
& G" {- E: p4 X) ]/ C•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
6 n3 Q8 C  a0 m9 d9 n. N0 F•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
$ ]2 N' J. I0 U' [# K•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

' Y3 B: y& f- z6 Q' {  Q' M  lAccountant Requirements:

+ j$ i9 G* Q8 n5 X•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
& n, G2 M2 Z/ b' o/ F•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.
