The procurement officer is responsible for:
. g9 L' Q; \+ O5 e& \-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
1 B; ~) ^8 {2 r* @* \( _1 ^. [' W$ V. E-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
' y- c2 D3 _2 B# x-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
- Sound research skills
8 H7 T  z7 N5 T, o1 i9 }/ B- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
4 Y+ ]- ~9 b' _6 E- Friendly and outgoing personality
1 x& B. O  R3 l8 y3 A- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
6 ~# Y4 J, Z! c  h) E' B  l1 k- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
