  z5 O' x* u7 m& b" hThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

6 v: q1 P( x) P$ E, o' jThe procurement officer is responsible for:
% M2 w% n9 ^2 R5 u  G7 |5 V-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
& H/ `- U& Q. c$ y; n- B1 I& v! d-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
0 h4 X* D& c% H4 w. u+ h3 a) M# V-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
' E, {8 I" i% k8 y5 d
Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
( c" ]* t$ W6 S. O' r- Strong organization and time management skills
( ~3 D5 u  Y0 [" ~) G4 T- Friendly and outgoing personality
' h' _& J* h6 j2 R0 w. ?3 N* i; l- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
! c# v; g& Y! I' P% u+ K- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
) o6 b7 W" E; X! V- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
; j9 a& ]5 k) `* L; G, x- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
