This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

* s, J( ^6 r" P$ \# mThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
0 U' r, M4 ~) ?- T2 m% l-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
& v% W" K4 S. q0 m, T: q# j-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
+ z# s3 O. q9 `/ a& P  K! A& ~6 \

- Sound research skills
0 l2 t2 S3 y" g, X. U- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
. Q; z6 u8 E1 H2 u- Strong organization and time management skills
; ?. k. i. ^" y- Friendly and outgoing personality
* d. S) C! E4 ]6 `1 N- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
