! a* c: K& I/ zThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

+ C7 _0 W# Q. z$ o% |' Z+ \" MThe procurement officer is responsible for:
  b" e1 E0 V; X* {0 J0 Z4 ]2 `-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
& J* e  v2 \* J5 V-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
  y9 q: i9 f2 g5 |$ R7 M-        Building and managing supplier relationships
% b9 H( S1 k- U( ^  A3 N8 \-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
: h2 q. b+ B0 B0 D- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
8 t% T; B1 A7 r9 X" F, d' J- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
