PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.
' c- x# ~) W) L# qConfiguration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.7 W. o! A3 ]4 t+ D- v
Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
' Q8 m/ N' z. V9 u* o2 CCollaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.* U- y9 R; K/ O; G: z5 J2 f8 {% _
Interpret and follow contract and customer specifications
: d% N7 A1 {5 M6 WContribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.6 j T5 V+ p9 i' |5 ?* o" h" J
Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.

Communicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences

Work with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed3 H# e) v* u1 X* R
Establish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.( A$ Z* \. Z/ g$ Y( t% K" P# S
Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)% t D: L. S$ m% e: ?
Participate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed
0 o( L% i- H- Y' E; PWork with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing- F ]% P# q; k1 X
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure9 ?6 C$ _! W# h3 Q6 G
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.; N0 q5 ?# ~1 p, b( V% H4 _+ w& i7 A

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College
; G! ]! G- S cTwo to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.1 ]# |1 A1 @6 [( {: A
Automation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)$ |. P' |8 p3 X Q3 [1 A- O
Experience interpreting process control documents.; r5 }1 R" F7 c
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities" L# {/ B* J4 G) ^; f8 A+ D
Proven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards
: A( X8 l; F+ X4 k* ZKnowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies- z7 M& t* C/ b" r8 m

Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.

Electrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment& @! j! x+ S( r } t% b$ _3 y
Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents1 F/ D" Q* P7 `
Ability to quickly shift focus from one technical issue to another while maintaining commitment to accuracy and precision
