As you may have heard, a new federal carbon tax will be introduced in Alberta on January 1, 2020. The tax is part of the Canadian government's comprehensive climate action plan to help lower carbon emissions.2 _2 n+ M$ o; o9 ^5 k

You'll see a new line item under your gas distribution charges as soon as your bill starts to register January’s usage.
