6 M0 p7 M' s! ?$ W+ zAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:' ~/ K4 n! u$ ], e- P& s
2 z, {& ^4 H Y* ^- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
# ^6 e; [+ p# [: W" r. U- {8 C5 o- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
) P; {. q+ T- O+ ^$ J- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 9 G) ^' e. R0 B) O
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
# J2 l% q; \3 u: y) i* h- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
: K& H0 j1 W8 W1 ^- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

7 Z, s2 x4 U- t1 r1 M* z- Previous supervisory experience

2 v1 a' D8 }6 T; k8 P) p' ?- A minimum of grade 12 diploma " M# _* |6 @0 A& M. F5 Z
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
, J6 ^9 q+ y+ a9 U4 `% ^. W$ ~- E" Q- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 9 G9 h! h r- v& q# \; o
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
