0 G8 `1 b4 e' G z5 I" |As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
+ o" G) I( v( {# j, A) d, X# r& b# r' B
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. : t M% `0 |8 K
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. % C+ j8 k9 C2 o% @. E' q4 J) J1 ~
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 9 A- f4 m8 ~5 G: u/ k/ a
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
/ |$ e* P' E- L9 m+ \2 _- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 0 P( k7 t' A `/ j* T% x
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). ; }) s! x& L5 Q5 A
- Managing shift expense budgets.

# C5 Z1 T) r5 x# @, b8 E1 ^. Y1 B A- g& C; z) `: o
- Previous supervisory experience ' Q* Q+ B, p% |8 b, M6 h. {
- Strong leadership skills
0 p; ~0 F$ A2 G) g9 {% W- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
3 h7 r7 ^- O* J$ F2 [- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
/ C7 a1 x* {% ^+ M$ K- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations : ]7 |5 o/ ^( V& O& _
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
