5 l" t9 c/ H7 f# K# g2 HAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:+ X1 @" H- k" {7 N
( M6 H$ D3 \( y, K. k) l
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
2 m) _" ^0 g( I$ {. L- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
' T( a7 z& C! U, d6 @! m" T- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 9 `6 j( }0 n( k7 t# |" U+ Y+ `7 X
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. ( z& K" L) x1 h4 }9 G4 u
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. ; n* Y3 K$ b! C$ `
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). ' l' L; @- F" h- z0 r) l8 @
- Managing shift expense budgets. + k ~3 N$ }$ |- [1 g4 ^

: c. f( I8 y- l# c- Previous supervisory experience + Z% y; t; Y; O0 I+ O J
- Strong leadership skills
9 @, B( J0 v3 S$ r# k5 k- A minimum of grade 12 diploma ! a/ _8 j# { y
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 0 `/ H" H$ n4 u1 }" C' f4 P
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
2 H2 p7 e& L: @, X' a# o- A- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.* n; B5 Y) o" }2 `- Q* O
