; t6 Y# r( _# [5 r: i! oAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
) b1 |; K! i: q1 a; i- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
" f# i4 j4 _" _; S: b- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. * a: w _% n# k& X. E! ^0 K; ?& H, k
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
; F- R/ ] I! G; `% {- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. ; q+ r( K! _" v
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

Experience and Education Requirements
& c0 ~( P( q9 d
4 z4 Y% ~& h% P- Previous supervisory experience 2 U2 e, |3 M% o& g" S
- Strong leadership skills
4 e$ [8 \1 O5 Z4 w- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 2 j4 K# v5 \$ B* V' U
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 5 J. z% }, h# I1 u4 s+ m( P
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
. |. q; w6 c- [7 d! j. p9 G- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
