! a/ y* }. S! \) j$ d5 I+ FAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:% ^- I- }4 w/ E2 z
/ q- u+ y: l/ D- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. / ?; Z- o( f1 G& _
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
7 s# F3 |9 L0 C. T- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
" e3 ~9 L8 |3 Q1 u5 O' L: [5 k" E- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
z" k9 i; M4 S0 j1 h6 G5 P- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. ) z3 A2 W6 t$ \7 E
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). ) X# a0 c% i- h% V; |
- Managing shift expense budgets. 3 d( @/ i# K: a

Experience and Education Requirements8 t" r2 q4 J5 d/ e* G/ W ^
0 u! ~6 w0 v6 h" {0 L- Previous supervisory experience
( U% |) m- T8 U- j- Strong leadership skills
7 P: D" J2 |9 M9 g2 k6 x* i, b6 u- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
9 B7 H: |7 E' R( v- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills / H% F6 P! h3 R b# z
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
: A$ k. ]# Q7 ]9 F- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
