9 |6 z# N2 Y% x4 XAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:& N# U/ C+ d1 X. |0 b$ L. n$ A
3 g) Y+ z- R: I& B3 F- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 0 e8 H, y8 G$ K( a; F N
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. % Y7 w, ^, E$ _- s" |
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
6 E) j% y5 A/ z" N# Z% I" c- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
O0 {& T2 G3 f; Z- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. $ u7 X' r1 f4 [. M
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

Experience and Education Requirements N; }* J; n! N; z6 a8 v
1 B- o& ^' A* A1 M2 E( x- Previous supervisory experience
3 G, ?; q$ a T6 y. i# a( b# s2 k- Strong leadership skills
[4 u# D' X( M; W' K- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
% k0 C5 ]& w: {5 q1 Z- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills # p% ^5 ^4 [/ B, U4 c& _8 D
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations , n! O, X& a/ g, f3 Q$ b h2 K
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
