求助，工作地方老板要收押金。请问合法吗？

工作，老板说压几百块，以防万一突然不来，或者不能够紧守职责。

雇主可以这么解释:

结论就是，在Employment Standard里面，只要员工authorized in writing，雇主可以扣掉或者暂时hold住，你们读也不读就想当然告诉别人错误的信息。

你把我的链接打开看一下就是到了，是Alberta Labor “ask a question online”的链接。意思是直接去问有关部门。根本就不是什么Reference
