DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
; A4 O/ l- W8 }9 t! k# r   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
: d# g7 }: Z' g, a) Z7 ~   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
, Y+ V6 w# w& q5 d& {3 h/ B   o Microsoft Operations Manager
: [8 T+ S, k  X! U( D   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
( B& R- z4 b/ Y7 a: w9 g$ O   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
& F& Q% e4 A# u5 N• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
2 x# p) y9 M" r1 x5 `* y& l2 [3 m* }* c: i• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
: [/ [$ B, B; n; L3 `; Pplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
! Q4 {9 S4 ^; S4 g  i. _• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
: A2 u! ~4 _' {# O• Excellent written and verbal skills
; e- M4 a  c1 ~( R. i3 Q% U  a6 t# O• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
$ R0 T+ k  ?; r( ?, n( X- K# N• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
7 ^1 B/ A* X0 y% Y) a8 e• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
8 P  ]! c1 H0 v( |8 x   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
2 S2 R5 V; \  E' d( o   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
9 }) B& D+ _- X" d7 u• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
9 h# X! A  N! \4 `0 ~+ E( c+ a• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
+ O& c' G3 A* x" N3 U7 n* g• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
* J$ c8 n: O0 {8 Y* W• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
' i) l5 X/ X, S/ F8 T5 c( q8 K/ R• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
4 {) D* X' p; @" b# }# J+ b/ S! S• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
