DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT

1 K+ ^5 l" c' gRESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
5 T' c9 H# R$ x• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
# B5 N6 i9 g1 H, k* h- f2 D   o Linux based operating systems
  |8 C) ?) J0 k/ D1 G' F  T8 N! ~, k   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
8 u, r3 n: m$ N  b• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
5 ?; t& I+ C" R• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
5 @2 m  N% q8 Q* c: f• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
- p$ E6 X+ u. ]* [2 ?8 j0 Fplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
8 j6 ^  l8 W' q! c9 `" b2 q& @SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
. `6 b7 t3 T7 {3 m  S9 M" X• Ability to work in a team environment
/ o3 l6 Q  s; Y  `3 h. J- j• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
4 {  c3 j  a: n9 l/ e2 _8 m• Certification should include some or all of the following:
$ G# D8 l: r9 Y7 c   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
+ p: [  K8 o% m1 W7 N$ D" ]   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
* Q: [9 t7 d: T9 m3 Q   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
5 V, F4 f1 p* X; [0 h4 }( p   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
. L3 a' J; _/ u+ n" A& X/ T• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
2 c  k2 ~# |& R• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
& f, G3 F3 i2 w+ B( h7 K5 n• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
