LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA

SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

" X  h% c" ^  U7 T0 @0 F' m  E• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003

) S" u3 W4 C+ O* n4 Q* g6 l- l* Z   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
+ Z% P$ S3 K0 e+ ]: t; O5 M   o Linux based operating systems
0 s# P, x' b9 V0 Y( E- X   o Sun Solaris operating systems
5 v  ]* ?+ s3 u2 E, E2 ^9 E   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
/ x3 D, N. L/ d- H( ]# A$ @) splatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
) _2 S7 a# J" Q( W# o" bSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
" Q) Z0 |7 N5 T# n0 O& t• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
2 X) J2 d' a* p& V+ i• Excellent written and verbal skills
$ ^+ T% ~# @# L  i• Ability to work in a team environment
9 L" y2 T. Z1 @- q9 l) F0 K2 R8 T* n• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
+ Z( O0 e( U; k* x/ Y7 N! I• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
# Z5 @! u4 w& M% U* g9 T   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
6 x, Z/ ?8 j/ }• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
