( g/ R5 o8 K9 V1 N" ~RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
% B9 p2 @6 _+ y   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
" R! M( V" [5 c6 O: S3 H( W6 M   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
' U6 c& p9 r6 R# R4 D   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
- y( G+ E8 q; g1 \; r3 E7 S   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
% \' u# ?; s  O* ?, ~• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
$ Z2 k  u! e9 U• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
1 M3 G% ~* }, f1 a+ Cplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
9 \, C/ b5 X$ @4 C$ E0 D, d4 \• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience

• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
# o" ~! e' I, H$ o5 I7 q4 y. s0 i   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

" K2 ]5 s4 O- C" S   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
7 d8 @: V& }0 b; K. D, q1 T* N• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
9 H; y) a- G6 p% Y" g• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
4 t+ P6 [$ a! a0 F. O* A! z" L• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience

• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
