Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

5 E! ]; T5 }/ N0 \2 {0 R/ L- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals! o8 }. }) ?, e, q5 D% v
- Supervise kitchen staff# m! z% n0 X$ h% l- a' S
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
: b. Y+ \/ ~) |; a1 s1 F- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
0 s2 n# u+ a8 ^- Manage kitchen operations1 d# l N! @ m& j3 U2 }
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production3 H" A) b7 k& e
- Work night shifts, as necessary
- N6 l# ~ |0 }$ VRequirements:# s5 l4 A: ?1 ~* m7 m
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
; Y, e) ?* M* T- X: R- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.9 P+ ^. A# K8 _6 @! z. ~
- Good proficiency in English.

This is a contract, full-time position.) h; ^$ x: g+ \* W/ h/ m; Y
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
# e5 a; L- a& \# [! p+ F' BWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.% l' P C. ?% D( D, f0 l' g% P# z
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.+ B) L. O) j' [+ d3 X7 |7 ]4 t
Location: Simonette Camp (51.5 km west of Fox Creek), Alberta
