Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me: 0 H- ~6 I, i f
"I am going to send it back". ! F7 K% o7 N* n8 ?
I did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:- q) T# h4 s, @: V; p
"I am sorry, what are you sending back?" - q- Z% _' ]0 G# R& t
He said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage."
; _$ e# d; P a0 C2 o$ `- c5 }"Oh, you found a wallet, and you are going to send it back to the person who lost it?" + }3 W- f S) c- j! \! E9 u) _' U* O
"Yes, I did."& S, ^' @0 N: r/ J
Finally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post.
3 f3 u: V, q6 Z- i: |He took the ID card from the wallet, and showed me the address of the loser of the wallet. I saw there were several one-hundred bills in the wallet.
7 X$ l E/ r( z# v& t& n"Are you going to take some money from the wallet to pay the postage?"

I gave him a bubbled envelope, and instructed him where to write the addresses. He wrote the owner's address, but stopped at writing a return address. He asked:" h, x0 ^2 l2 g

"Yes, you may." I thought he must want to be a nameless hero. But he said:4 [7 U0 q0 ^) \( d& t
"I do not have an address."

6 R! i4 d5 R' f' x$ W: [! eHe did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."
$ i9 W7 ?3 `9 F& MMy heart had a sudden jump. I realized that this is a homeless man who found money but was sending it back to the person who lost it. 6 B) ] {- s! N* I
He did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity.
