Job Description:

Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  k3 `. e, z$ WModify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
0 p% G- d, f8 f( P( Q( MArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
; A5 Y1 Y2 J# u+ Q6 X* nRectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
/ M" Q; \+ y: s5 QPerform administrative duties
, D; \# {0 C. r5 hComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
( B9 N' t9 U( |* C* KMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks

4 s& Q, n! A$ OWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
