Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
5 S* s6 i( C; k, |& k3 X& sEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
$ A! S$ G( l; n7 v- sSupervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
$ @: V  i2 Y, U: e  x. {4 }Recruit and manage kitchen staff
; \' w: G  O+ w) i) J! bRectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”

Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef
