• Greet and qualify customers on the phone or in person with the view that the end result will be a new resident.
h6 d4 t8 s4 u5 u• Post advertisement8 S. a" V. } z7 V+ Y; c7 c/ M
• Answer phone calls, and respond to email and walk-in rental enquiries.
9 V5 r0 p) z* U# o, P1 H$ h! S, J& Q• Process applications for prospective residents – ensure credit information, landlord and employer references are correct and complete.7 _5 s2 J, @/ X$ g# b: p
• Schedule and complete suite/house showings with prospective residents.' G% q7 i2 W2 ~$ c# d/ g$ w& c! `
• Enter and set-up guests and new residents in a database.
4 ~) H0 L7 T8 G' {3 v• Prepare move-in files and ensure all appropriate documents, cards and keys are enclosed.
; ?0 N* K; S1 w. n+ B• Schedule and complete move-in and move-out inspections with residents.
" q& M* U. H: x: v% k) H# x& A7 `• Perform route inspections as required.) T3 K( p4 y+ f7 P1 V
• Assist the Property Manager in administrative tasks as required (security deposits, leases).( E6 S* O* u5 Y+ v0 R) X
• Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act in all procedures.
6 I" K* G% F. {/ Q1 M( ^• Execute all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.
$ N2 \# O' X" @! S• Ensure local, provincial and federal laws and regulations are being observed within the community.

Required Skills & Abilities:" j8 T2 ~8 U* n
• High school graduate; Post-secondary education is an asset
! m; \2 h8 i% Y7 t" X• Two years relevant experience in sales, leasing and/or customer service is preferred
; V5 t; y3 J, o N• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
" b5 b" Z2 r5 K4 T; b8 }/ q• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills- i% i6 C' c+ j- V1 g0 Z& H: x
• Exceptional communication ability, both written and verbal
4 z& z8 R, a" V% T( K% T, l- z• Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license3 F: F7 f i# A6 h( E" O
• Proven customer service and resident relation skills2 A+ u9 a) w9 l6 Y! m- e2 Z; R
