POSITION: Junior Accountant

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
( h' a! L$ [2 u• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
* y/ `; N1 D- [0 w k• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible, M0 q% u. D* G& P3 v' O
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required. g+ i" U1 f8 v. {$ ^

REQUIREMENTS:. A L6 ~* s) ^7 C! P" e& ~
. A" W/ K3 G- s5 y, q/ j/ Q• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
. b0 I) b, S3 b+ g• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
: X5 m. k% C* X/ K9 A' j• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
) d1 D/ F# E) B" d* u& T2 x9 I• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
; S" l1 {$ `8 g+ e4 T1 A- Z; O, x9 h• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
