We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

POSITION: Junior Accountant

5 V+ \, @9 G( a1 G6 z! {• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
- w1 p. I9 D3 o f: h• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
2 u- s; w0 F6 W' B• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible

& x* r% }& [) p2 E• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
8 ~, q% y5 n8 p1 t• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
p6 e) i, L, x/ H! `" l- Y• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
2 _; H& u6 ~6 f8 A, y" M7 z• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
! Q0 z% X, p% ?1 r9 l* A, N• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)0 w" ~- m5 }4 [5 R4 q4 ~
