We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

POSITION: Junior Accountant

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.' Y2 l7 X: _' Z$ {* }$ V$ _( P
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.# Y: e3 Y! N, Z4 _: a5 d4 K0 a4 d
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible; Z2 v; e1 K, y/ q7 F7 B o2 K8 @
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
- e$ }& Z: o0 g# Z* k+ P' B z3 a8 R% i; i$ c9 d& ?( `' {
• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role. j) @$ f/ o9 M6 D2 |$ }
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
/ ~ \, T0 F! ]/ r* o. E• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
) l n/ ?# u5 ?9 Y4 g• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers, c2 L9 Q3 {( e3 e' z1 N* U$ |
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
