Start at the Cabela’s tent where you can pick up a loaner rod and starter tips, then head to pre-drilled holes to give ice fishing a go. Looking for more tips? Fishing Ambassadors from Alberta Conservation Association, TransAlta and Cabela's are on the ice to show you how to tie a hook, jig, and handle fish safely. You will learn about:

Being a responsible angler (safe fish handling, catch-and-release tips)
Being safe on the ice (ice safety tips)
Fishing in Alberta and fishing regulations
Cool ACA fish projects
