The impact of Ralph's cut is that a great number of government services were contracted out, and the government ends up paying more to buy those similar services at higher prices. The same thing happened to our gas and other utility bills. All the above said, there is inefficiency in the public sectors just as inefficiency can also be found in private sectors.

$ W9 r! W# g  V, SWatch out for this round of wage cut. I can anticipate that people will pay more user-based fees. For example, university tuition and fees will be going up.

Nothing wrong with contracting out. The worst and most expensive services are from public sector.

/ P9 K+ U% P) B& f+ ?# d8 zI kind of have to agree with your point that "we will be in much better shape if health care can be privatized" because I cannot find counter argument. Please try to make it happen. Also, don't forget to privatize education.

我不反对加税，全国就alberta没有。地税也可以适当提高。
