Few minutes work if just the safety expansion valve leaks ( most probably only the valve)3 z& j7 i& {- ]$ o# ]+ D3 g u

Close the main water inlet valve;/ a! k8 ]2 J8 `+ u

Shut down the hot water tank by closing the temperature switch to off;; v6 q! j* {" O# k3 j! S$ Q

: @+ _4 Y( B! X6 H! sThe humidifier is even simpler. The drain hose is supposed to have water go thorough the humidifier filter inside the housing and then goes to drain when furnace is on. / ?5 V6 ]0 G) P& |. l& f# ]- G+ t- @" ? N" Y- F3 r. M
If there is no crack at the housing connector, just re-do the connection when the furnace is off.; V" e( u: ?! D& c( ?, T9 `
