免费讲座——winter in Edmonton ( 有限量免费过冬赠品）

地处Southgate Mall 近旁的ASSIST 西南办公室将于11月19日下午1点到3点举办一场免费讲座——Winter in Edmonton。讲座语言是英语。参加讲座者将有机会得到免费赠送的过冬品，同时低收入家庭可以登记Christmas Bureau (圣诞节前派送购物券、圣诞食品、孩子的玩具给需要的家庭）.

讲座内容将包括： 爱城的冬天如何保持身心健康，雪天如何装备爱车，如何运用公共交通体系，如何穿着，如何让孩子安全快乐得过冬，爱城的冬天有些什么活动等。

Winter in Edmonton

South Side Settlement Program is hosting a workshop on “Winter in Canada” for newcomers to Canada. Highlights of the event are:  free winter giveaways and an opportunity for low income families to register for Christmas Bureau.

●        Winter in Canada – what to expect, what kind of weather we get      
% h8 g& \. H) y* \* n  q●        How to stay healthy, physically and mentally, in the wintertime
( ?" Z, ?: x& |4 M* M5 [  S. Q4 a●        How to travel in the snow – how to be prepared in a vehicle and on public transit/ what kind of clothing to wear
●        What to do with children in the wintertime/ What events to look forward to
