This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible).- N! x! @! z8 M
When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic/ P6 I, p% A, e1 M2 P# m
condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and9 r; S0 B; Z% y0 L
• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or7 S6 G; ]/ E- U4 a% v0 c/ F1 _, Y
• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy.8 C/ p; i& X. a; ]: |8 ]
If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
