This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible).. t* I" O3 e* H% G4 z/ H' i
When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic' @ L$ U* Y+ m
condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and ) q2 ~0 e5 ]9 b• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or$ ?% k3 W/ x9 {; j+ T
• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy. 9 }* m* Y2 _8 W& m" PIf “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
