我刚刚搬进去房东就决定回国发展(突发性),2天内就走了,SECURITY DEPOSIT都没拿,房子也没退回去,他说跟大房东DEAL很麻烦,叫我也别通知大房东了,之后就音信全无,至今我都不知道他叫什么名字。于是乎,我跟另外一个原室友A支付12月的房租, 用的是我的CHEQUE,并且再找了另外一个室友B来SHARE房租,结果新来的室友B第一天就被大房东抓住并且没收钥匙,说不认识他。) r# h# V5 L- k4 D; q

接下来事情开始变得不受控制了,大房东把门锁全部停掉,我们无办法只好找大房东理论。大房东就说,我就是不希望你们住在这里,除非你能找到原LEASEHOLDER,否则我将拒绝一切交谈,你们是ILLEGAL TALENT,我要你们马上滚蛋。由于家门都无法进入,无奈之下,我们只好第二天搬走(12月中旬),当然了,余下的房租也无退给我们。7 E' I+ \# N# a+ J6 C9 ~) Y

前几天,一个COLLECTING AGENCY(CA)打电话给我,说我欠款850$需要交他们,我问怎么一回事啊?他说,是大房东找我要的,他就负责收钱,850$。500房租300清洁和50GST。我说,我不可能给这笔钱,CA就说那只能上法庭了。我说,我跟大房东有没有任何的协议,我只是跟二房东只有口头协议。但是CA说他们不管,他们只负责收钱,他们找不到LEASEHOLDER现在找到我和另外一个室友A,他们还有一张CHEQUE是从我这里发钱和很多CHEQUE是从那个室友A的。0 {8 y/ S6 q2 F! X+ q

My thread was posted almost a year ago, though the agent called me like 20 times, I talked back every time and everything is good.
The problem is: Your collection record is already in Equifax now. Your credit score is going to be below average. This is a horrible story to be taken advantaged off by the original leaseholder. Sorry, there will be a lot of loss in terms of time and frustration to get this done.
