买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

9 b+ ^, Q8 g* tYou can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:
. Y3 H4 [4 N( g•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
& f0 M5 w# d* ~2 x, J7 o•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).$ U. T+ Y! P% X( Q4 Y0 h0 A, U
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750.
