• Support capital projects and network build activity with coordination, installation, and commissioning duties • Respond to corrective network problems, performing effective/efficient problem analysis, rapid troubleshooting diagnosis and prompt repair of equipment to ensure service restoral objectives are met.

• Coordinate with other Technicians and departments as required to obtain maintain service levels.

7 H, |' o% S" m* G• Plan for and implement preventive maintenance routines to ensure network standards of performance are met.

+ o7 f' e2 R; b! _$ F4 B5 [• Perform cutovers and upgrades on the network as directed by work orders.

• Perform acceptance tests on newly installed sites and equipment to ensure results meet design specifications.

) g, g' P" E! j' I; d- \• Microwave and Transmission experience (e.g. DS1, DS2 ,DS3, OC3, OC12, IP) • Gain in depth knowledge of key quality service indicators in geographic area of responsibility.

• Optical Fiber, SONET and knowledge of TCP/IP • Participate in retune activities associated with network optimization and build activities.

• Maintain inventory of required parts and perform regular audits to ensure availability of parts.

9 A  B3 J& k- @2 f• Administrative reporting of Mileage, Timesheet, Expenses, Equipment and Deficiency ticket updates etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years of telecommunications experience.

% r: m- i  V) o" S• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics from a technical institute.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

The Manager is looking for a contractor with the following skills:

-Telecom Diploma with at least 2 years of post secondary education -Experience working at a cell site -Must be willing to travel around Alberta (expenses will be reimbursed) -Experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Internet Protocol Analyzers, RFC testing and Microwave testing *The manager is not looking for Engineers.

& c1 A: b1 s/ _, H4 z*The contractor will not be required to do any climbing This is for a large LTE Expansion in Alberta.
