(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

0 G( ]3 \1 U% \- K$ v; ^of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
/ [6 g1 v) e7 e( G- Rlook for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
' @8 Q6 L g* D5 {of directional information.7 T9 v# h% x! x$ ^9 R
, ]* o9 A0 ?$ V- e) bBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening & \' B! s3 f! P3 K
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
" {- F2 [; q/ x3 |, J' pa variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 1 ~9 h* E5 L6 @7 B b, j
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 8 c3 ^3 I, @0 k
Hawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on ; K( ]8 u; |# ?3 m. a. \: Z
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 0 q2 [4 J" p3 E) B% n7 X
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 5 [, U, e5 F7 r& \5 j
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from % p r% k$ E7 h4 y6 ?
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
3 B) C! Q+ {& o" B. D( q* k- iONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
* m5 U( t3 }6 N" `your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
& {; x) G) ]3 d; C$ T& K6 q, }of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 6 r9 x$ P2 Q2 @& {7 o- B
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 3 F1 a+ V8 r f# |
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
