Alberta's Orientation program is now confirmed. In addition, we would

(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
* r8 s" S; q4 R8 k* Qattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of 9 N# N& o0 p6 p
information that will make your transition to the University community K. T5 |7 x; M/ N2 D# y7 x
more successful.

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday, # T3 ~9 A5 Y3 W; H+ X

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth

% A) a* W7 F# n3 l0 h8 m, YBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
! m7 S6 ?) X( P: d- C. ^) j" p# I1 dactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
8 P; ]3 f- Q' ma variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday

. G: c5 k# r8 L. BYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
: ], R+ j0 x6 E& w4 ]- xSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 5 u1 J8 B7 d3 B( z
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you $ [- f; H( Y6 S# N6 }8 H
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from + ~. [' _+ B% Q8 O
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your % r8 X9 J$ j/ v0 K5 O
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
+ j7 u* P4 a9 Eyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece : @, o6 [1 t6 K# e7 j
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus : N( z" @! h5 b" l
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic " J8 H. c' G9 b5 I) I! A- J. [) w# P/ t
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
