! A# _% [+ e: x3 C/ [' ^attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
) X) u& E6 m* i+ D0 ~. iinformation that will make your transition to the University community

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit
: e6 H+ A2 o' {www.campusmap.ualberta.ca to find your check in location. However, don't worry about having % Y% e) }( Q$ K# n
to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds % o; i' }' M4 y$ {
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically v! \3 O$ R/ Y+ J8 L/ L/ |, y
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
+ x* Z% l1 ]8 r& [3 c7 \of directional information.
, N& v ]( b7 U0 A$ ]( x
+ ]) i) F# k7 m' KBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening ! X- l* V* ]3 p+ e4 q) Z9 @
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 4 b* w6 V2 X! O% o( G6 l3 l( H
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday , }! t0 p6 o$ ^. M6 Y' d
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in

* D( ^0 T+ q8 n4 _+ O; c4 BYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on ' U; K: I/ s) G( B- `* w
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 7 x! a" X: H( U
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

# q+ u: K/ j( R! @/ d% I6 EBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
. }6 i4 [4 s1 g" d6 Gto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from ' f, _! N7 A% ?* k
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your : x6 A$ b% ]9 y/ d. A
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
C; D/ A0 u; k* R; Wyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece . p/ P, l- h! [% Q$ s
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus j. z. _4 y2 K% Y- y
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 5 ^1 V. N" L& w7 `% A- |, U1 w
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and % |6 m* x( e; s8 e" a7 n
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 9 C9 y+ y8 d$ C4 g. Y) W
