Position Summary:
, D) m; E, l; J: B- \8 V- DTo provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required., G3 ~* A, ?/ E1 S, c; o8 d3 a1 s

Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals4 w" T% o% B6 ] R; c
Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business$ X' G2 V! W" @4 x" W" i: Y
Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
. j- |: I. ^1 t$ I% F Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy% q. k' E$ ~3 K0 R' G9 S1 x
Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
/ j- B6 x+ b3 @ Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
3 e& c2 K% i# s1 j9 M3 O3 A7 L1 B Actively participate in training initiatives

/ a9 t$ b# M( c' V! `( W% aThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:; n+ d6 g V# S+ s2 R6 m
( W- g5 k0 z v# n8 ?$ K High School and or Post Secondary Education
) ]. Q; f1 s& E, M Previous customer service experience
+ K2 G' N4 k, ?: C) O+ ]! ^ Previous sales experience an asset
! M& O: G8 G: k% O6 ^' K) p0 s( Q General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
: }8 t% g; }6 I6 O" C6 m& y Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
