Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales! ~! [+ B4 {4 j9 [. X

- H& E1 J& [ m9 ?; N• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

/ E1 s1 a0 \- ]! u1 }& t• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

9 B% Z/ y( Q! d( \; L4 n# P• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations./ l: ]' _) H( Z! g& P. f

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.5 I% i) p! r7 h) @1 r2 d& q

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours. 

: B# O. ~5 f% ~2 s• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
1 W1 } {. I2 W4 w# c
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.
+ ]: f+ k& E& G( [
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
+ T! m4 a3 x) k( s& f
• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
3 D4 \2 n( j1 `3 c
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.9 n- }; b, W& h# k/ H

• Travel within the assigned region.

• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
