Key Responsibilities are as follows:
+ @' E1 D% u. }2 ~) c+ ^•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
9 e( g- O" \3 R7 o( x0 {•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies

[* ?9 d& g8 s•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
6 S2 _, w6 V- S5 f9 t) m% a•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.( k0 H3 m2 j' F
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential+ ^, [' ~ c' _& r8 P
! e" M* Z) x/ V) c' fQualifications:5 n+ u3 R4 }8 u. x+ _4 a
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;# r; p; E6 ?7 G+ p0 h+ q
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;: h0 ~4 X8 Z3 m# Q2 H& _0 [( q
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;% P& O- {. @5 l: h% k
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 3 ]! m3 B" A9 E7 U$ }1 v
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.' F# h( T$ L- o9 P9 R6 b% N
