Key Responsibilities are as follows:& o+ L1 Z, [& r2 m# G B
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
* ^2 d9 o6 i/ B•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies& o$ \6 s# k& H
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting' @7 H" r5 ]6 A; `: S
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.

Qualifications:
; [+ X/ L! v# x1 C9 c ?4 Z9 e•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;; i* G5 h( ]$ v& w2 F
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization; K+ S) V+ q% @7 |
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;8 M- l( x/ e* k
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 0 X) D4 V- K4 s, T. T. L, R
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory./ V. H: ?9 z" y; z
