Key Responsibilities are as follows:. ]. U7 H5 s+ U1 I& \* c
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
3 {* c" y+ o* b/ h2 m9 d•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
: U7 v/ x* c- H Y5 {' h% \# n•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting2 _1 \5 X9 Y ^$ u, }
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.

Qualifications:
* S' s( z% _* n+ X+ q9 u3 \1 o" U•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
a- j4 C& V+ S- B$ e: F•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;6 g H& P8 b# O$ F
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;' G9 F" n& @# ]6 W5 W0 g
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
! k: ?$ b7 x/ U1 L$ F, j•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
