Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

; k/ w3 p- @- A1 MWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

; ?# l$ W# J" P( Q: a: F; iThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
5 D0 ^) p- q. Y* ]5 F, c Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
 Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
+ e$ s3 y0 N6 F: q; s Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
$ X; N4 d# _9 s3 m) t2 W Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
" e8 y% O: ^6 J0 ]# u& E Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
