最近大量成功人士包括妇老幼加入冰钓活动,那就得谈谈fish这个词 % i7 `1 s3 V2 [2 x8 q/ hFish确实是可数名词,又是不可数名词。更特殊的是它的复数形式并非我们认为的那样。# [# }+ C) t+ m8 @# d/ \; s
Fish作为食物原料来讲的时候,是不可数名词。我们i说I ate an apple 但是不说 I ate a fish(不知道在猫的语言里是不是这样讲), " Q4 L- X* V O: d6 G5 l- R- O说I like seafood and I can eat a whole fish for dinner.还差不多, 通常就说 fish。这时候就是不可数的。 ' {, V, u6 d; B9 `9 I3 A我们去钓鱼的时候,fish就是可数的了,但是记住,你钓了几条?one fish, two fish,都是fish,而不是 two fishes。% i) O7 F1 E9 k \# ~
难道fish的复数就是fish本身吗。也是也不是。同一种Fish的复数就是fish,fishes是用在不同种类的fish时候 * A! R, g/ k; q! f

We use fishes when talking about different types of fish. For example, I caught five fish today and they were different fishes. 5 w0 I8 H# G7 `" [' C
* ~; M" s. @+ Y ZFish is uncountable when we talk about the meat of fish. For instance, I want to have fish for supper.
