Job Description:
  P/ X' b+ \2 ?7 [& aJob Responsibilities
: {5 K( F0 |4 k! [4 ^9 E•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
7 l, x- r* c. n7 B) s3 g3 n- [! C" i•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
' O0 A& T8 Y$ n* I' a•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary., b/ B* U' X5 K& w2 M$ `9 J' S
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
, D  h. c: V, x6 U7 W- Q& z5 c& L•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
1 P! ]6 R6 k3 V* b% \& [•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
& l( H8 R4 h4 M•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
" c1 e6 P( q  J/ O% M•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
& T0 v3 A" B$ D. R•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
  E. v6 Q0 {- N+ K* y) ^* E•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. 6 w7 S$ R- D; f* j! I2 J# B0 s  V
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. , \: P( b% K, K2 J) y, X+ r
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. 7 I. L$ B7 u% b1 z$ e
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.6 D3 g" H4 i$ N* P7 z( s( n2 J) p
•        Attend Cluster meetings. ; i3 u, E4 L9 f- Y% h
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
% n8 W+ u5 Q/ v•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
  L' m- W# ~. o+ Y! _3 |1 u•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies0 v! d6 t# @8 h+ [: p& H! K
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center% }6 `) s. @2 |: q9 u9 `
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float
+ b* u; C& k4 \1 c•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager! l8 F" @2 [+ C3 B9 _

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
8 S2 n" ?! a4 l8 W# x. e- f• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;% m5 N) M1 i' R5 w% Y2 m2 H- e
• Ability to lead and develop;% n5 G2 m3 d8 Z% M/ ~
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
7 f( {, ]. ~3 D# F! A• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
1 A7 t6 ~% w) g1 A# T• Ability to work within deadlines;+ r1 o; Y' P5 q( h5 {
• High level of creativity and innovation;
, W5 S/ `/ z8 d" h' A5 q$ p3 S• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
' h8 ^/ q, i; f6 ?6 L1 I• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
