* u1 }4 L: M( p" y• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues. X% M, c; W3 ^* K2 s3 ^6 x
• Oversee hotel security requirements.
7 |% f. n; ?: a( G- l. A* Z% x• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.3 }/ M0 k& J& s. ~# m$ r
• To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
6 ?7 e t" B1 k9 d• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.

• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.( l, o! ~. e# a% s3 N* [5 Z
• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave./ F Y' x& `2 \: a6 n5 n# K4 U
• Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.

• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.

$ [; `. J" d7 l9 s/ F• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.- k+ r" J/ Q8 p7 A l5 P; M
• Handle PMS computer problems in each department + [2 w5 a/ P2 I! ?5 {) G0 |
• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies6 K+ g1 m+ w5 S% J9 W
• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center

Requirements:
! x- n" v* Q* w+ Y•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
- N) G" D& g: z x• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;

6 C1 A! H, }: J. A0 t• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;; C) B8 ]8 \. g1 P* A K7 h6 m
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
