$ r4 W/ E8 A% y' [8 aTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
! ^" p, c7 G% w/ ^# p• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
* z4 c' j& r" A+ _• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
) y5 Z$ ]  O1 l* }& ^• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
# M" v9 t$ k- k4 d! D! h• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
0 l1 j0 Y2 l: S• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
* j2 O' E9 Y; X* M# c4 ]9 {• Participate in trade shows;
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;

• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property

• Ability to lead and develop;

! y6 B. X* d" {4 C• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
* ?1 N! |" x  M6 [" I• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
• Ability to work within deadlines;
