Job Description:
To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

9 i; h2 X: S1 N5 u1 d• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
- ~# ^9 h7 Q9 S9 Y1 {& a• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
7 {+ `6 z3 j' c, _" U• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
# \: i" `2 {- g7 M• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;

; L7 l. \7 t' y7 d) h; ^8 v" _5 v4 R• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
& R1 }% o' \$ g; X* \% v  d• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:
6 N0 c+ {, d* G8 V: X# [# ]$ R•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
4 s/ f: ?! E. r' B+ c• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
% Z+ _7 b( ?1 d- T- w• Ability to lead and develop;
9 E7 k: g! T0 C7 v8 K# e• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
' q; L( ]% ^! h4 w# t) s  m, S• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
$ ]1 i6 j/ t8 x! B- J$ b• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;

8 N1 f( R! w- h) c• High level of creativity and innovation;
( j/ G: L3 O1 M6 G4 ^• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
