Job Description
/ [0 v+ s' T% C  R* s# a) |-promote the Centre and ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
-promote Centre and ISP programs in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
-develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP and Centre
-recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
-promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
' G; W4 _6 g. J6 C-outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
; S7 F: z4 D/ `' @( C$ S' R1 w-attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
! Z( h6 S( W% B" w6 o! W4 p2 t-adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
3 ?7 D3 e, _9 K4 n1 G* B-report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
3 K' Q! u* J8 k; ~-recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
-assist with front counter services as needed and assigned
-other duties as assigned

-degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
3 y" i2 ^( Q* ]. o" {; R& B; D-knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
+ G# u2 G6 S: t9 o, w( @-good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
9 X# F, p2 M4 C: p5 K( f& [-fluent in English and Chinese
* J' p( S8 c! [( H, D4 {-good interpersonal and people skills
-valid driver’s license
