A male wearing a balaclava and carrying a handgun was spotted by a pedestrian walking in the area of Falconer Road and Riverbend Road at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.! x6 g/ A9 N) H: y! Z1 j4 H

Police arrested the man later in the afternoon at the Terwillegar Recreation Centre, after receiving a tip from a resident. : B7 U+ w6 r2 L" M+ | ) g, G& S" R. t6 {; Q" \1 }3 K% D8 lA search of the man's home turned up a BB pistol and balaclava matching the description given by witnesses. A man wearing a balaclava and holding a handgun was seen in the area on two previous occasions — the first at 4 p.m. last Friday near the Snow Valley ski hill parking lot and on Saturday on the Terwillegar Drive footbridge. 5 Z: w" p( W1 z+ q
