五月份加国房屋销售量打破记录,全国大城市平均房价首次突破$300,000/套。

加拿大地产协会(The Canadian Real Estate Association)称,上月大城市房屋销售量达37,460套,较去年同期增长4.4%。06年前5个月房屋销售量比去年同期增加5%。 # Y1 I: _4 }! Q0 \

此外,从全国主要的房地产市场提供的资料看,5月平均房价较去年同期上涨了12.9%,升至$303,836/套;但房屋销量涨幅远跟不上房价涨幅,因此现存住房仍属紧俏商品。3 q2 K& e! T% D

地产协会首席经济学家Gregory Klump称,目前市场价位相对较低的二手房(resale homes)短缺,导致房价进一步攀升。Klump说:“人们看到低价位的房屋供不应求,房价又在一路上涨,会觉得现在不买过些时候更买不起,因此买房者也与日俱增。”
