- provide volunteers to update membership database, h( S A5 [. t; S3 a
- recruiting, performing security and reference checks, providing orientation, supervising, referring and placing volunteers. K$ v- c* f5 n
- train volunteers for ISP and provide duties! |2 M2 h/ x% M8 P
- train volunteers for Centre and provide duties% [2 s q; `9 E/ N* q& h4 F: I
- provide volunteers for various programs : x' C% h4 ^: U5 Z$ L$ O# {
- coordinate, update Volunteer Manual
' ^3 C B" f7 H+ ?0 ~- planning and coordinating Volunteer Appreciation
) j8 ?' o! Y2 F5 \- participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities
7 P' X: M) b! d- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to volunteer services% ?8 X$ G/ M" d+ \8 i, Z# u0 S( A
- assist in writing ISP proposals and reports0 ?) L- ~) F8 v3 a
- provide volunteers for Centre activities as needed

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)2 @' O9 n' \% z, P/ Y1 Q
- promoting volunteerism through various media including the 3 main Chinese newspapers, Chinese radio station and the Chinese television, Fairchild TV, brochures, pamphlets, booth displays, special events 0 L9 u B$ E0 r; g
- development and distribution of a volunteer manual . }3 d0 T: b& e
- planning and implementing training sessions for volunteers * e7 \2 F }/ ^& O
- planning and implementing training sessions for staff that work with volunteers 7 o9 G; L& n3 V7 v* G: A1 M
- consulting and reporting to the Advisory Committee on a regular basis + Y% } N( N5 V7 Z
- evaluations . K6 e! i0 U0 Y0 g6 e' l8 p `
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre3 p7 t3 r+ T, e8 v

- degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education
c8 u' S* R' t8 R6 {; B- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
9 E6 \0 D+ w3 f5 m3 c6 R- experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services6 ^' k/ f7 m- m. K. O, G
- leadership skills( X- m4 ^$ ?$ ]5 s
- management and supervision skills2 F% w, H, j; ^
- exceptional communication, interpersonal skills
