Hours of Work: 17.5 hours per week

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community# |) G* s: w( v, [; R, y8 _# B
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
* B/ T8 `; D6 \' Q! r0 e0 h- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
: D& c( p1 _) B5 K$ b# n4 _- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
* ?7 y4 c; k" L& \* i( v9 x+ _- coordinate good will activities
* N0 g5 P+ `; p0 c- coordinate and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- prepare and send AGM information to members
& T( E9 a) Y% J$ D- assist in special events coordinating: Open House, AGM, Volunteer Appreciation, etc.7 b1 W( W) l5 R( c( e/ ?" F
- participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities) n0 F- W5 P% U( p) s* t. u
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre- Z) `/ _ o2 J4 t! V' I( t/ Y/ N
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services; d/ `3 y* q3 i& M. t
- assist in writing proposal for ISP. F w g0 v- h6 l5 B |% p) l
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP

- hold regular meetings with ISP team

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

' q& ?! q# M3 e6 O4 r- degree in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education ( b# b# a! c6 r, k
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills. v: F# B& ]1 }0 c7 X7 J
- experience in community work and immigrant services
U$ ] w3 t3 V2 x" }, w5 t- ability to coordinate workshops and seminars

- exceptional communication, interpersonal skills
