EARLY LEARNING FAMILY PROGRAM

The program will be offered at St. Teresa Catholic School every Tuesday for seven1 v% U2 E! |3 V/ y8 ]0 j! B
weeks beginning March 6th and ending April 24th, 2012.

Snack: 3:15pm to 3:45pm
1 s- O+ ]8 W4 Y2 S* V- zRhymes that Bind: 3:45pm to 4:45pm' k1 R" W; r7 M. {/ ]+ N% y, q
This “drop-in” program introduces parents to various strategies that can support
$ r$ J |# f% R0 Z' K/ V# btheir child’s early literacy and language experiences. It is recommended for
5 S1 [7 F( ]5 o2 K; p7 J& P0 ochildren that have been identified with language needs. RHYMES THAT BIND is an
/ ~3 J# n1 o; i4 k/ _- Loral family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0 – 6. It) g3 k( k5 F2 b& ?
encourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children in a relaxed,
; i$ |- T$ f1 M. N' @5 Hfun, and supportive environment.
( c# v; k$ O: P/ OEach family will receive a booklet of songs and rhymes at the last session. No
% A7 D1 k- P, U; R/ Z5 xregistration is required; a snack will be provided.
