Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Location:         11190 Ellerslie Road, Edmonton, AB, T6W 1A2
Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

Main duties:
•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
0 \0 ^4 W/ _8 n! H•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
& ~. ?% {! i( X/ c% R6 H•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
' O0 x. f3 G; d5 Z+ ~4 z* M•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  j) N( z$ {# k$ ^, Q•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- ^' b# \% B+ q# G) K# O3 G•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
) G! [1 k- {9 l- `% g; I4 ~•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

Job Requirements:
•        Completion of secondary education is required
- F8 a% x% R9 t3 z% I; I; {•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
