Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
' x$ }  E7 e1 _( J! |•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
5 F* ^7 d) s/ l5 R•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
# A# I7 F' V) `9 a•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
* `, {# y4 t; H- `/ n4 T( Y) X•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

Job Requirements:
  E! n( h% y7 l( L* {/ K3 `( _•        Completion of secondary education is required
0 V8 }, X# o7 P* L9 ?9 ^. p•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
; S8 t6 w9 s2 c- S•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
6 a6 }* p# ?) r•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
