Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:
. Z" N0 z7 [( j ~( c1) Any bodily injury or death;
, y( X+ b0 [8 o2) A Hit-and-Run;2 Z% ~; {* f( q7 b; I( X3 h5 c" q
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;4 n5 w4 V; S4 \- z$ L
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;6 [: n5 k& z# u# S& P0 |" J; t
5) An out-of-province vehicle.

3 _" {9 j3 f; I TNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.! Q1 M7 n) j+ T2 ^
