Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:/ S/ T% o% Q3 I7 g3 E& X' U, J
1) Any bodily injury or death;3 F4 _8 c! O) Q: e0 ?
2) A Hit-and-Run;
4 I( h) E+ n6 o, c3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
) Y% X2 Z7 l$ T9 j8 g! M* S4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;
/ D" m! q6 U1 [! Y5) An out-of-province vehicle.

6 a$ y7 F+ q: a4 f! P1 T1 LNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.$ t& ]' k% O7 k1 F7 _! d
