Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:
& n+ |: K. W& A- _0 ~ b5 y1) Any bodily injury or death;. p+ I1 i2 {+ v: D
2) A Hit-and-Run;
( v. O: ~: ^9 _1 f# X$ V- Q* v3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;+ C+ ]5 X: v! N1 P9 @6 k1 |4 g- T
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;; b1 N' \2 a# u5 ]6 A% T* C
5) An out-of-province vehicle.

) P* \% a* `- u/ \6 T v8 jNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.% n1 O3 w0 Q; W" H2 R
