Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.# Q; f0 I0 M4 e, _' p; n
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:$ n$ e: t+ p, N- O7 c
• Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.# p( b1 v8 [) D$ ?2 Z( m
• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
$ Q2 B% d2 L( x4 A, @) G/ N• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
9 F0 |6 ?2 r$ f$ i0 `: ^• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
D4 H9 i, r0 f: a. D/ f; b* ~• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
7 V7 Y) e2 o: V8 x8 [& K# ~; b. l• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.1 b: L3 V3 {% O- s
• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
8 b; |# c$ o, y• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.) Z: r) \% i& N8 s
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).3 o& {( E1 K! z- _+ Y
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
# G# k6 h! [, `8 a• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
( y, R0 R0 x# o p6 M9 M• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.

• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications
4 W; ?7 ~- N+ ]- k! S' F* bRequirements:
. ~/ g9 L* b6 E3 G* }! B/ _9 J• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. ! z0 s4 t$ E% [# V g% f7 B
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. ' l& Q1 }! r+ _' O
• Strong Union Relations experience required. ; f) [; G/ ]) J q
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.# \- U. l& M0 E- o; s
• CHRP Designation is an asset.
