Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.7 e4 e+ r9 \1 a* \* v0 d# l
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:& I1 S6 A3 l/ w' P0 ~* v! ^
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.* U5 r5 V; ?3 k' H$ i. }, w: c
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
) P5 n/ h# L3 X•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
' r6 ?( I) y, _% R( d- a" C+ `•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.1 c! k% i' X8 @2 x; V2 N5 d
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 5 f0 V0 d/ Y% V
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
# I' ~8 ?- e) o0 B•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.$ B- G2 Q9 d+ `0 {' k+ {' H* V
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.: g3 g3 V4 T" ~6 `- \& _
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP)./ A- a0 N3 d3 s# j* }
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.6 ]) j3 q: {- C. }8 M' e  m$ u
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
+ I1 w+ s8 _: ]- L" n" [8 W•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.% [5 L. W/ p6 @' @" V
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
+ G8 H! |' d6 r$ z, M•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Requirements:
4 v( i% W- U( g" c! v3 _•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
" W# _/ s; c7 A% b- M, }* n•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. " P  Y! @- b' J, I
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. ) W5 s0 y& W/ o! _+ K+ V1 Q
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
  J! p7 D# L5 O•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
