Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:' h9 J" D5 F% ^& D# }
• Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.6 H0 \! J2 \2 j G* E
• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
2 @9 g+ `1 G; y2 ]: N3 N• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
, _. l! X+ R( w; |: S0 L• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.. R! z# Z; u) f- q
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
( d3 D4 s) ?, ^+ S6 Z& t1 Q8 G• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
) K8 U# {. e6 x. k6 N: X• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
( z8 \5 d0 z9 d0 F8 J; Y• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.$ {' ?/ y% b; I9 \4 h/ I5 O
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
5 z$ j4 I0 `% a, A/ z# l• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.

• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.& u5 g8 S, F" j# g$ o0 k
• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
) w* [1 q: s# h0 z' c; W }3 t• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Requirements:
L7 k& Q8 T6 Q' N• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
( v" X& B, d r, S- q• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. % b; s* G/ T' J
• Strong Union Relations experience required. . G& g) M) J, @& B
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
6 ^0 A; K0 v$ N; W4 f% g• CHRP Designation is an asset.
